Within a few blocks of the harbour is the historic part of Alicante. It includes the town hall, and some churches. This post will walk around the streets of the town hall.

Next to the town hall square is the town financial building, the treasury. It is a modern building but has preserved the ruins from a previous era in its basement. They can be viewed from the street through the windows.
