Looking out over the east coast of Barbados
Barbados has about 60 miles (100 KM) of coast line. A large percent of the coast is fine sand beach. Below are some views of the eastern coast as seen from St. John’s Parish church. (#7 in the map below).
The numbers in the coloured rectangles above indicate the number of pictures that were taken and placed into the Adobe Lightroom App. This only counts the pictures that were taken with a camera that is able to store the GPS coordinates. Only the picture at the top of this post was taken with a camera that had GPS recorded. It was an iPhone 7+. The ones in the photo gallery below were taken with a DSLR and a zoom lens.

Barbados is not only a popular tourist destination, it is also frequently visited by hurricanes. Many only pass near by and stay out to sea. Here is a link if you are interested in having a look. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Barbados_hurricanes
These pictures make me feel warm! I could definitely stand to visit Barbados!
Hea, the northern winters do wear us down but this one hasn’t been too bad so far.
I may need to add Barbados to my bucket list. It looks so peaceful – despite the hurricanes.
Fortunately for us northerners, the best times to visit are from December to May.
