Budapest food
As I said in an earlier post you do not have to go hungry in Hungary. There are many fine hotels with excellent restaurants.
As in most cities you will find international restaurants and food chains.
In the month of December the Christmas markets offer a great variety of foods you might not find during the rest of the year.
Here are some novel ways of cooking the food for the Christmas markets.
You have the option of buying hot food to warm you up or you can buy the raw ingredients and spices to make your own special dish such as Hungarian goulash
Perhaps you prefer a sidewalk café or a convenient deli.
At 3;30 PM on a Thursday afternoon you can take your time deciding what you would like to eat. On the weekend it is much busier.
