Friday morning bus tour of Budapest
Our bus tour began at 8 o’clock in the morning under sunny blue skies. Here are a few pictures of the highlights of the city tour. They were all snapped through the window of the bus.
Budapest has a very large city park. Some of its highlights are the Hero’s Square Monument, a large zoo, a permanent circus facility, and an artificial open air ice rink.
Although the temperatures were above freezing this ice rink has a good surface and is much larger than most indoor rinks. I would have loved to spend an hour skating on this rink.
Isn’t this a great way to get your morning exercise and soak up some of the winter sun.
Opposite the city park is a very large zoo, this is the entrance.
The city hosts a permanent circus.
