Casablanca beaches, and there are many of them, stretch about thirty kilometres along the Atlantic coast. The tour did not drive by all of them but I have included a few video clips as we drove by. Turn up the volume and listen to parts of our guide’s story. One of the stories I believe is a little tongue in cheek about the name “white house” and confusion with the building in the USA. You can search online for the Casablanca Conference.
Some of the beaches are better suited to surfing than for sunning. Surfing competitions and boat races have been hosted by the Tahiti Beach Club in Casablanca, Morocco. They also offer lessons on surfing.

Did you notice some of the western world franchised fast food outlets? The next post will turn inland to see the better parts of the city and the ancestral homes that have been built near the beach.

What lovely views and fun stories.
Of course we’d all like to travel back in time to Bogart’s time there
I will take you there in an other post.
I am not sure the times were very good back then in WWII.
Rick’s Cafe has been refreshed and may look much better now.
I did not get to see it but the bus did stop just at the corner of the street that is was on.
Wow, the beach looks beautiful. Thank you so much for this. I did not get to go to the beach this year do to health issues. So, seing these videos did wonders for me.
Thank you Brenda Marie for travelling along with me. You will find a lot of places to visit in this blog.
Those are beautiful pictures! I can almost imagine being there. Thanks for taking us along with you.
Thanks Jeanine for joining me on the ride. 😉
Thanks for the videos. I have no visuals of Casablanca in my head at all. What comes up when I hear Casablanca is Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman.
Thanks for taking me to see the beautiful beaches, I also love the sky in the photos.
