There are several hotels that are part of the theme park. They range in style with each one having its own theme. They are within walking distance of the main attractions and each one also has a shuttle bus running continuously between the park and the hotel.
The closest one, with no walk, is right at the beginning of Main Street. It is currently being renovated to be a five star hotel suitable for a Princess and her family. It should be open in 2024. There is a horse-drawn tram from the front of the hotel that provides a pleasant ride down main street to Cinderella’s Castle and back. It is also one of the stops on the Disneyland railroad, an “authentic steam powered train”, that runs all of the way around the outer edge of the park with stops at each of the major adventure groups.
The next closest, only a ten minute walk from the main gate is Disney Hotel New York- the Art of Marvel. It is themed for the superheros of Marvel’s creations. It is a four star high-rise Manhattan style hotel at one end of a beautiful bay. At the opposite end of the bay is the Newport Bay Club Hotel.
The Newport Bay Hotel is nautically themed to relive Mickey Mouse’s maritime adventures. It is a fifteen minute walk from the entrance.
The tranquil walkway along the lagoon beside the Bambi themed Sequoia Lodge leads to the two farthest residential villages at only 20 minutes from the main entrance. They are the Pixar’s Cars themed Disney Hotel Santa Fe and the Toy Story, Wild West town of Woody and Jessie, the Disney Hotel Cheyenne.
Here is the lobby of the Cheyenne Hotel and a video of the back lot.
Remember, all of these hotels are only an eight minute shuttle bus ride from the Disneyland park. There are other places to stay but I would not recommend the Haunted House or this hotel.
So, Those are some of the choices,
A very wide range of hotels to choose from.Which one is your favorite?
I can never pick favourites, I cannot choose until I have experienced them all. Maybe a couple of days in each. It takes a week or more to see all that Disneyland has to offer.
They all sound like nice places to stay.
Since my son was a huge Disney Cars fan, I’d probably want to check out Hotel Santa Fe.
Even though France is my neighbor country, and I have been to Paris a number of times, i have never visited Disneyland Paris. I prefer doing so in Florida or California 😉
Fun fact though: I can totally appreciate the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas 😉
Florida is closer to my home but I have been there several times and France was next door to kids. I liked that the park is located outside of Paris as in the USA it is outside of Orlando in Florida.
So many choices but my favorite would have to be the Cheyenne Resort. I’m all for the old cowboy days!
I love all things Disney, and these posts have been a real treat for me.
Doug, oh my! Disneyland Paris is a very big place! I think I would try the first one and hope the interior has some 1800’s French flavor. Thanks for the hotel tour! Your pictures are great!
