Most excursions allow a time to shop. It may be for souvenirs, to sample the food, or just sit down and rest your feet. It is good for the local economy. Here is what you might find in an indoor street market in Jeju, South Korea. We were here just to look around and collect some video footage for your enjoyment.
Did you spot the Hersey bars? They are a local variety, chocolate and green tea anyone?
You might notice an orange and green theme here.
Of course it is more than just food!
When I was editing this blog, I notice that I could buy Canadian Lobster in South Korea. Who Knew?
Whatever you need, they probably have it here, you just have to find it.
Back out on the street, it is a different world.
I love these open markets. It doesn’t matter to me if they are inside or outside. The sights and sounds are what makes them special. I also love to people-watch and learn about the culture. If you ever come to Philly, don’t miss the Reading Terminal Market. Great post!
What a fun day of shopping and yes the first thing I saw in that one picture was the Hershey bars! I love the leather cowboy hats!
I liked the hats the most too. I am not a fan of fish and I wonder how much is wasted at the end of the day.
