Kasbah, the unexpected town square in Tunis, Tunisia

At the edge of the Medina in Tunis is the Town Square, in French, “Place de la Kasbah”. Built in 1950, it is surrounded by administrative buildings.

This was where they parked the bus when were exploring the Medina. I invite you to watch with me from the bus window as we travel back to the port. It is pretty hard to tell from looking out the window what country or city you are travelling through.

Tunis , being the capital, is the location for many institutes of learning. The University of Tunis was visible in the video a well as the National school of Finance. (probably taught in French).
