The boat ride through the land of fairy tales was worth another visit. This time I recorded it differently, with a different camera. The video is in vertical format so you may have to adjust your display to see it all. I made a video that played a little slower but it did not sound as good and that was distracting so it is on the cutting room floor.
Since the video moves a little faster than I would like, I have captured a few still frames from the video so you can appreciate the detail in these miniature models used in the villages. See if you can find them in the video.
I loved those pictures. Every last one. They looked quite magical, and I almost expected a gnome to suddenly appear in one of them. Speaking about gnomes, you might see one in my blog in the next few days!!!
I will be looking for it
Those pictures are beautiful, Doug! I love the fairytale aspect of it all. Just from looking at them, I know I would LOVE being there in person.
Funny to see the fairy tale names in French, but of course we’re in Paris, right. Love Hansel and Gretel’s gingerbread house!
And to think these fairy tales were first told and written in languages other than French or English
I love your photos. Looks like a wonderful place to visit. I hope you are enjoying yourself.
I enjoy it as much when I create these blog posts because I get to relive it several times over.
