Monaco is well known throughout the world for various reasons, the Casino, the Formula One Race, the Oceanographic Museum, Opera de Monte-Carlo, the Prince’s Palace, movies and video games. Here are a few pictures of the ins and outs of the Casino building.

We visited on November 3, 2024. It was a Sunday, so maybe not as busy as during the week, but there were lots of us tourists. There was no gambling at the time but they would open later in the day. The cafe de la Rotonde was not open at the time either.

If the restaurant was open you could buy a glass of Evian water for seven euros, or apple juice, pineapple juice, Coca Cola for ten euros. Monte Carlo beer or house wines are twelve euros and a Taittinger Champagne is only twenty one euros.

Outside, the courtyard is filled with tourists

A video will show you the other buildings around the courtyard, like the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo.
I liked the mirrored dome and had to use it to take a picture of the casino behind me.
