There is a stream running through the valley in Sheppards Bush. Here is a video from the top of the ridge looking down into the valley.
Part of the trail is closed off with an orange plastic snow fence to let nature restore itself.

In Oregon many areas have been affected by this summer’s wildfires, so will take a while to welcome visitors.
I wonder if removing the underbrush is any help in controlling/reducing fire damage.
