There is a stream running through the valley in Sheppards Bush. Here is a video from the top of the ridge looking down into the valley.

Part of the trail is closed off with an orange plastic snow fence to let nature restore itself.

Love everything Doug!
So beautiful!
In Oregon many areas have been affected by this summer’s wildfires, so will take a while to welcome visitors.
I wonder if removing the underbrush is any help in controlling/reducing fire damage.
Doug, I just love being transported to the woods, when I read your posts! Thank you!
Imagine it covered in snow.
So beautiful taking a walk with you in the woods Doug!! thank you for taking us along
My cousin in Winnipeg has had snow this week. I might be able to take you for a walk in the snow this month.
