Malaga Cathedral, Andalusia, Spain
From our temporary base in Torremolinos, we traveled a few miles up the coast to the city of Malaga. There are a few interesting spots most tourists visit. One of them is the Cathedral. Here are a few pictures of the exterior and the surrounding courtyard.
There are some other interesting buildings around the square. And, what square would be complete without a water fountain?
Nice moment of virtual traveling by reading your post. Those pictures are amazing!!
Hi Jeanine, thanks fir the comment.
Great pics. I like how they sort of merged old with the new. Hope to visit one day and see the city myself. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure Samantha. Thanks for the comment.
Malaga – I recall it well, mainly because the only thing we had managed to do there (an unexpected detour on our Spain trip in 2001) was a visit to the beach on a windy December morning. The good thing – we were the only two people on the beautiful beach, the bad – it was cold, it was windy…but the best thing – the prettiest sea-shell ever found (and I still have it)!
thank you for this e-visit and for inspiring me to plan a trip again 🙂
