We chose a relaxing day in Malaga, Spain. No excursions today, we just took a walk along the harbour to the town and back.

There were some interesting views along the way. If the concrete supported above our heads was to provide shade, it was not helping much at this time of day.

This is an interesting slogan. You may see in the video that there were a lot of children jumping on a large trampoline in the back of the ship. This was one of many companies providing cruise or sailing adventures on the Mediterranean.

One of the shops was hoping to sell something to the children who were dragged along with their parents. I didn’t see them on our cruise ship but visitors come by road as well.

Like many Spanish port settlements, there is a fort on the hill.

It was great to get back to the ship where there were more interesting things to see, like our travelling home away from home.

There were a couple of less common cruise ship lines represented in the harbour. Virgin, of airline fame, and Thompson, a company that operates out of England. I have travelled on a Thompson cruise into the Red Sea to see Petra in Jordan and down to see the Pyramids in Egypt. Thompson were operating their own aircraft at that time too.

Just a few more pictures to prove we were there.

Did I mention there was a beach between the town and the dock? You will see it in the video.
The next video gets right down in the sand. Can you feel it between your toes?
