Madagascar
Nosy Be is an Island off of the northwest coast of Madagascar. It is where most of the tourist resorts are located. The popular beach is on the north coast and the capital city is on the south of the Island. It is called Hell-Ville. You have been warned.
The common notion is that a chamaeleon adjusts its colour to blend in with the surroundings. An exception is when it is the mating season and like these two they want to be noticed to attract a mate.
Madagascar is known for the lemurs. This one hangs around a family who sees that it is fed like the cats and chickens. Being an enterprising entertainer, every purse is checked for snacks.
Andilana beach is on the north coast of the island and is the site for several resorts and dining spots. Tours stop to let passengers stop in the shade, walk on the beach and relax with some food and coconut punch. The locals come to watch the tourists, entertain them and sell their handicrafts.
Meanwhile, back at the ship, the determined have paddled out to the ship to sell overripe bananas to passengers that are living with a constant supply of fresh fruits and vegetables. Others are selling their carvings or wooden necklaces.
