Ottawa’s Knox Presbyterian
The third stop on the Ottawa Doors Open event was to visit another church. This is also a conventional design but contains more detail in the carving of the wood and the larger stained glass windows.
The message posted is as relevant in early June as it is during Thanksgiving week.
Before 1955 there was no stained glass in this church.
Turning around to face the entrance, another stained glass window draws our eyes up.
This is a relatively new church, built in 1932 from locally quarried sandstone.
What a beautiful church! I especially like the woodwork and the stained glass windows. Thank you for the virtual tour of this church.
Thanks for the comment Alice. Stay tuned for more tours around Ottawa.
