Have you spent some time in a yurt? Would you be comfortable living here? Look at the the gallery of pictures inside this Yurt in the Eurasian Region of the Toronto Zoo. Prepared for you for this Wordless Wednesday. (click on gallery images to enlarge them.)

Looking at your information, it does seem like a yurt could be a dream home in many ways. But I don’t think I’d choose to live in one. Neat pics, though.
What a lovely yurt and furnishings!
In the mid 90s, I lived in my friend Gwynne’s yurt for 3 months while I filled in for her on our Healing Arts team.
It had a sunken bathtub, and like the rest of our got springs retreat center, geothermal heat. It was well insulated (necessary in our snowy and rainy clime) it was a wonderful, cozy welcoming space.
Humans have lived in round homes far more often than square ones!

Thanks Nadya for the wonderful informative comment. I had not thought about the other round dwellings like tents and igloos 🤔
Doug, what a lovely yurt! It’s the most designery, high-end yurt I’ve seen. Such beautiful door panels and furniture! Is that a heater/cooker unit in the center? Thanks for sharing these great images. To live in, I’ll take my little brick place any time. 🙂
Thanks for the comment, do you have the opportunity to travel? Yes, I think that is a cooker for making tea. 🌞
