Saint Michael’s Cave, Gibraltar
One of the main tourist attractions in Gibraltar is the Saint Michael’s Cave. Inside the walls are lit with multi-colour, continuously changing lights to highlight the natural rock formations.
Another of the famous attractions are the Barbary apes. They are found up here in the Upper Rock Nature Reserve.

BEAUTIFUL!
I am curious – how long was the tour/time you were there?
Thanks for sharing!
We were there about 6 hours in total. A tour around the whole country does not take long. It usually includes a ticket for the cave and about 30 minutes to walk through the cave. When I visited in 2016 as a stop on a Princess cruise, a half day was all that was required.
Um. Wow. Yes, I would like to visit the Rock of Gibraltar. Those colorful rock formations are amazing! I think that it needs to go on my bucket list!
If you like land travel, I would suggest adding it to a bus tour of Spain. Some Mediterranean sea cruises include it in one of their ports of call. I have been twice and stayed for about a half day each time.
Wow – that’s beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure Lori. Thanks for the comment.
