There is a very large field that contains several soccer fields. That would be football to most of the world but I will call it soccer to distinguish it from American Football which is also a little different from Canadian Football.
From the main picnic shelter, there is a not so well-marked trail to the soccer field. It leads off of the busy trail from the parking lot. It is marked by an unusual tree. Did you know that trees can grow tumors?
By now you know that I enjoy your company as I walk through the forest. I might even talk to you as we walk along the trail. I have not been along this trail before but I have a sense for where the field is because I have driven past it many times and parked in its parking lot once or twice in the fourty years I have lived in this town. The sign post indicates that I was headed in the right direction. Soccer field at the top of the sign.
I hope you enjoyed walking the trail to the soccer field. It is a big open field with a path along the edge of the forest. Watch for more pictures in the following posts.
