Torremolinos, Spain
Our base for two nights while we explored the other sights around the Costa del Sol. This was my highlight of the tour. The warm sunny beach after a long day of lots of miles and some free time to enjoy it all.
The hotel is facing the beach with only the main beach road separating them. Behind the hotel is a steep cliff that separates the upper city from the lower city and beach. There is a definite resort feel to a walk along the beach road. (Paseo Maritimo)
The view from the balcony varies from a peak at the beach to a grand close up view of the cliff.
Our guide arranged a traditional Mediterranean meal for us at a restaurant up the coast.
After dinner, some of us walked back along the beach as the sun set behind us. We saw the result of someone’s busy day of building.
I would definitely love to be there today! Nice walk, ocean breeze and the smell of salt in the air, nothing could beat that. Great ingredients for a creative mind. Thanks for sharing!
It is my pleasure to share the pictures Edel. Thanks for your comment.
Love the pics Doug, makes me want to travel — which I haven’t done much since moving to Belize. Spain is definitely on my list!
Thanks for the comment Jyll. It must be hard to leave your exotic tropical paradise.
