Wedding at Sea

There is another activity you could plan for a sea day. Many ships have a chapel which is frequently used for Weddings. The Captain can perform the service or you could invite your own officiant. Of course, you would invite your friends and others you would like to celebrate the event with.

Let’s take a walk into the chapel and take a look around with this video of the chapel on the Island Princess. Isn’t it beautiful?

Did you notice they have the equipment to create a recording of the special event for you to share with your friends that could not make it to cruise with you?

    1. I was on one cruise where the captain was the one getting married. Everyone on board was invited and the pickup choir was invited to sing. The chapel was too small so one of the largest lounges was used.

  1. This is a really cool idea. Of course, I’ve never been on a cruise. I hear you love them or hate them. But I do love the water, so I like this idea quite a lot. Your images are wonderful, Doug!

Thanks for looking at the pictures. Tell me what you liked, or didn't.
