Here are some of the big animals you might see on a safari.
Let’s start with the tallest land animal on the planet. A giraffe averages 16 feet or 5 meters in height.
“look up, look way up” The food court on two levels This is not a toy, it is a real car to show how tall I am.
You may have noticed the zebra feeding with the giraffes. They are actually a social animal and hang around in family units.
There are three different types of Zebra and they are smart animals.
What are these guys doing in an African Safari?
It is always so hard taking pictures through a window when there are reflections from bright lights.
Doug, your photo adventures are delightful, as always. For the top featured animal (what? an emu?), he seems to have stab marks in his coat and seems to be missing one horn. Looks like his has not been an easy life. I adore the bilevel food court! I live in Phoenix, and the Phoenix Zoo has giraffes, so I have seen their altitude first-hand. They are quiet, calm animals.
One horn, it must be a unicorn. Actually it is a variety of antelope, probably a kudu. The marks are just a different color fur. Here is a link to an actual African Safari from a few years ago.

I love your photos. I remember going to a park like this in Southern California when I was a kid.
