This fall there have been a couple of bluebirds visiting the bird feeder.
It is a small feeder but I have seen both of them eating at the same time; one on each side.
Unfortunately I have not had the camera set up to snap a picture when they are both there at the same time.
I have been feeding them sunflower seeds. I have been told it is really junk food for birds.
Does that make me the neighbourhood MacDonalds for the birds?
Your bird friend is rather handsome.
I laughed at the thought of you being the “Neighborhood Mcdonalds.” I’ll have to share that with my mother in law, who also feeds the birds.
Hi Nona. I have been calling them bluebirds and have to practice calling them by their real name, bluejays.
Beautiful bluejay Doug! I love watching our backyard friends. We have mostly bluejays, cardinals, mockingbirds and lots of wrens. Occasionally we are surprised with a painted bunting.
Hi Martha
I have been calling them bluebirds and have to practice calling them by their real name, bluejays.
