Exploring the Neighbourhood

Another month of walking around the neighbourhood. It is the beginning of fall in this part of Canada and the trees are changing colour and dropping their leaves.

Some people are brightening up their homes with flowers, some real live varieties and some more carefree and more permanent varieties.

In the spring I began a tour of the neighbourhood and explored some of the local walking trails. I posted many pictures from that series on my other blog site. https://2baccountable.wordpress.com/2020/04/30/april-reflections/

Since the current pandemic has restricted our travel opportunities I imagine you have had time to think about where you would like to go on your next vacation. I would like you to tell me about your plans in the comment section below.

Where would you like to go today? –

  1. Hi Doug, your neighborhood looks lovely. The leaves are starting to change here in Western New York, as well. There are many places that I would like to visit, and I will be writing about them as I continue my imaginary trip around the world. Two places that I would mention here that I would love to visit would be Iceland and Costa Rica. They seem like they are interesting place, full of adventure and beautiful sights.

  2. Hey Doug,
Fall is my favorite season. I enjoy the plethora of colours as I drive around the countryside. Before the pandemic, my daughter and I were planning to head to the beautiful island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean. We are still hoping we can go there, sometime soon. Have you been to any Caribbean islands?

Thanks for looking at the pictures. Tell me what you liked, or didn't.
