A drive-by of some homes and some beaches
There is a lot to see from the windows of a bus on an island tour. Sometimes the pictures have some reflections of the interior of the bus and sometimes the bus is moving too quickly to get a steady picture. Here are a few of the better snaps from the window on the left-hand side of the bus.
We started at the port city of Bridgetown where the beaches are light coloured soft sand. As we travelled over the center and up to the highest peaks the terrain changed. Then we travelled along the east coast and saw the rocky Atlantic side of Barbados. All too soon we were back at the port and the tour was over.
The two houses below are side by side.
It seems like the community is still growing and not all of the growth is in the city.
Down near the beach there are some neat neighbourhoods.
Now what do you think this is or was? Possibly a life-guard shack or a change room.
Maybe you are interested in a larger home with space for your friends to visit.
Of course, a place with a view is nice unless you prefer the city.
I saved the video for the end. If you have any hints on how I can improve the video, please leave me a comment.
That looks like an interesting place to visit! Maybe some day, I will go there! My only suggestion would be to try to do something about the sound quality of the video. It was really hard to hear the tour guide!
