Today, while waiting on the runway in a Scandinavian Airways plane at London’s Heathrow airport, I spied through the porthole, a piece of British Airways history.
In front of one of the hangers was the famous supersonic Concord airplane. As the SAS plane moved to the end of the taxiway to the main take off runway, I saw that it would make a turn right in front of the hanger. There was enough time for me to get the trusty iPhone out and snap the one picture. Here is the view through the window.
On 24 October 2003 British Airways stopped flying the mighty Concord aircraft. Here is a link to more information:
