The Czech Embassy in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
The Czech Embassy is located in a beautiful house on Cooper Street in downtown Ottawa.
Notice the two brass signs on the wall of the building. In case you cannot read them, I zoomed in to make it easier for all of us.
Business in the back in English and up front, an announcement of who they are in three languages.
Inside, the features of this grand home make this place stand out and give it a European character.
Notice the speaker in the corner? That is so you can listen up while you look up. There have been other upgrades to help the old building serve its current purpose. Heating being an important part of an Ottawa winter.
Now this stop offered something I did not find in any of the others, besides the jersey. They offered samples of their Czech beer. Both light and dark varieties were available. While stock remained, the beer glasses were given as a souvenir.
Before I left, I took one of the few selfies I will post.
Currently, Canada maintains 110 embassies and high commissions abroad as well as 129 consulates and nine other representations. The Canadian capital Ottawa hosts 132 embassies and high commissions, and in addition there are 470 consulates and six other representations in Canada.

Not exactly a place I would visit. Oh sure- maybe the Czech embassy in DC. But, Ottawa? Just the patent office or the health protection bureau there.
