Visiting Haugesund, Norway is like visiting a Christmas market. Here are some pictures of the toy stores that are just a few blocks away from the port.
If you have a sweet tooth or just craving something to keep you going, there is a candy store that may tempt you to stay a little longer.
Have you heard of Harry Potter? I think this bookstore may have a copy of his books.
How cute! I’m a sucker for those Christmas village displays. How has the food been on your trip?
Hi Diane, All of the food has been carefully delivered by Princess cruises. There were a couple of fast food places in Haugesund but it started to rain so we walked back to the ship. Maybe in retrospect, we should have ducked into one of the shops to get out of the rain. Watch for some pictures of the food places in another post I will have about the shops in Haugesund.
What a beautiful shop! I love wooden toys and the candy shop….oh my!
Lia would have a great time in those stores.
Gorgeous toys, it looks like you ventured all the way up to the North Pole for some Elf-made products! I have a sweet spot for candy, especially trying it from different countries. Your trip looks fun and you have a great eye for a variety of photography. Thank you for sharing. Sending love. Jaime
Thanks Jaiem. The closest I got was Iceland but you know the north pole (magnetic) keeps moving around. 😉
Doug, how many places can I add to my bucket list? I am not sure but I am adding this one too.. so very adorable (and totally agree with the books and happiness quote!!)
I do not think there is a limit but the intention should be to do the things on the list.
If there are too many things in the bucket 🪣 you will hurt your foot when you kick it. 🤪
