The front lawn was once a demonstration of wealth. To be able to afford the luxury of dedicating land just to the growing of luxurious green grass rather than other more productive purposes. In many parts of residential England, the front yard is covered in stones and used to park cars. This is what I saw in my residential neighbourhood.
We need a good rain. Our lawn has a lot of brown mixed in with the green this summer. Sure we wish had a sprinkler system. Thanks for sharing your photos
Sometime it is a problem with insects or a variety of grass that goes dormant in the heat. Decide if it costs more to water it or bury it when it dies.
