Last night was the first and only night on this cruise that the ship stays in port after sunset. It created a chance for me to create some different photos to share with you. These were all captured through the window of a moving bus while we were riding from Kyoto to re-board the ship in Osaka.
Notice the people sitting along the river enjoying the early spring evening and the bicycle paths.
Two of the highlights of Kyoto are the Communication Tower and the castle.
What a way to start my day on a virtual bus ride with you! Exquisite photos and what a ride! Thanks for sharing.
With the time difference, my posts could show up at any time. 😵💫
This is probably the only way I’ll enjoy these sights – so thank you!
Stay tuned fir more pictures. 🫣
Nice to meet again, Doug!
Three things I ESPECIALLY love about your pictures:
The time of day: not dark yet, bur already lights are on in the buildings
Even though you’re in a big city, there’s lots of pretty trees and other plants
It feels very peaceful and relaxed
Thank you so much, I enjoyed riding along!
Thanks Tamara. Even in a busy city there is bound to be some quiet places.
This trip looks very interesting
I thought it would be busy and crowded. Well done. I am riding along.
Thanks Ada. Fasten your seat belt. 🫤
beautiful pics Doug! And Japan is a trip that has been in the making for me.. Hubby has been there a couple of times on work though ..
There are so many interesting places to see and like everywhere else in the world, every city is different. Perhaps you have read about the Pachinko Palaces.
