Kyoto After Hours

Last night was the first and only night on this cruise that the ship stays in port after sunset. It created a chance for me to create some different photos to share with you. These were all captured through the window of a moving bus while we were riding from Kyoto to re-board the ship in Osaka.

Notice the people sitting along the river enjoying the early spring evening and the bicycle paths.

Two of the highlights of Kyoto are the Communication Tower and the castle.

The Kyoto Tower lights up at night.

  1. Nice to meet again, Doug!

Three things I ESPECIALLY love about your pictures:
The time of day: not dark yet, bur already lights are on in the buildings
Even though you’re in a big city, there’s lots of pretty trees and other plants
It feels very peaceful and relaxed

Thank you so much, I enjoyed riding along!

  2. This trip looks very interesting
I thought it would be busy and crowded. Well done. I am riding along.

  3. beautiful pics Doug! And Japan is a trip that has been in the making for me.. Hubby has been there a couple of times on work though ..

    1. There are so many interesting places to see and like everywhere else in the world, every city is different. Perhaps you have read about the Pachinko Palaces.

Thanks for looking at the pictures. Tell me what you liked, or didn't.
