Lindos is blessed with two sheltered bays and each has two beach areas. To the north is Lindos Bay with its main public beach, Lindos Beach, where the old town meets the water.
To the south is a smaller bay with a small entrance that only allows in small boats. It is called St. Paul’s Bay beach and is not as busy as the main beach and is more sheltered. It is called St. Paul’s Bay because the apostle Paul was shipwrecked here and spent the time preaching to the Greeks in Lindos while the ship was being repaired.
Here is a short video of Lindos Bay. The beach is behind the trees in the foreground.
The following video looks to the south from the Acropolis over Saint Paul’s Bay.
To the west of the Acropolis is the town. Here is a video of the town viewed from the Acropolis.

WOW! All are super great photos but I love, love St. Paul’s Bay to the south of Lindos.
St Paul’s Bay and Olympia brought me back to this older vacation for this month’s challenge.
As always – your posts are beautiful. I love not only the pictures but appreciate the mini-vacation I can take with the videos you provide. Now I’m adding another destination to my future travel wish list! Thanks 🙂
Thanks for the comment. How long is your list now?
You might have to take an around the world cruise to get started. Soon I hope.
