When you visit Monaco, you might want to look at the Palace of the Royal Family. Here are some pictures from the courtyard, but a video is required to take it all in.

This is definitely a tourist destination as marked by the souvenir shops. For me, my souvenirs are the photos and videos I take to remind me of my visit. Having said that, I did buy a cap with a Monte-Carlo logo.

The view from up here on the top of the cliff is breathtaking but probably not so for the birds sitting on top of the statue and clock tower. From this end of the courtyard, there is a great view of the Hercules Port where the Oceania Marina cruise ship is docked.

If you hear children screaming in this video, it will become evident why when the camera changes to a closer view.
Walking back across the courtyard, I took some time to watch a guard with a very difficult job.
From the western end of the courtyard, we overlook the Port of Fontvieille. It accommodates smaller pleasure crafts in the middle of Monaco City.

From a photographer’s point of view, there could not have been a better time of day to visit this palace. (Yes, Palace not place. 😉
And this is why this time of day, just before sunset, is called the golden hour.

To see some picture of the inside and learn more about the Royal Family of Monaco, I offer you this link: https://www.visitmonaco.com/en/place/museums-visites-monuments/22156/prince-s-palace
I would like to go anywhere where no, one knows me just for one day. Then I could rest and relax.
Remaining Anonymous may be difficult. I see that name showing up everywhere 🤫🙈
