Beautiful photography, Doug.
Doug, what inspired you to go to Iceland? Have you been there more than once?
My wife took a bus tour around the island a few years ago with one of her friends. I saw the movie “The Adventures of Walter Mitty” and I was impressed by the scenery. When our trip to Japan was cancelled at the beginning of covid, (Diamond Princess was quarantined in Tokyo Harbour ) this was our choice to replace it. This was chosen partly because a stop at the Shetland Islands was on the itinerary. Unfortunately, bad weather caused the ship to skip that port.
WOW just WOW! Iceland looks like a fabulous place to visit.
It is a wonderful world with so many beautiful places to visit. Fortunately, not all of them are far from home.
Iceland is on my list! I have a nephew, by marriage, whose family is from there. His stories of his family and his own visit there have intrigued me. I love the pictures. You have such a talent with photography and sharing the travels you have experience. Thank you!
He might be a great guide for your visit.
