I found a couple of videos from my visit to Alesund. From this angle, you would wonder how that ferry boat could get between the lighthouse and the long white building.
The two pictures below were taken from the other end of the bay and show lots of space between them, and even another ferry coming into the harbour
In the satellite image below, thanks to Google maps, the long white building is in the top centre and the lighthouse is at the end of the long dock extending up and to the right. Imagine that tiny white dot is a ferry boat because it very well could be. ( But when I zoomed in on the maps app, it was only a pleasure craft.)
Now for a similar scene but with a wider view and turning about 270 degrees
Nice video and music, Doug.
Hi Lily. Which video format works best for you, portrait or landscape? I think portrait is better for instagram views on a smartphone but landscape is nicer for desktop or big TV like monitors.
Love those snaps you captured, especially the one of the lighthouse (I love them!)…so glad to have been a part of your travels so far and will continue to join you in your journey through your beautiful posts
Hi Vidya
I see you are catching up on your reading. Hope you had fun with the October blog challenge. Thanks for all the comments.
Pictures can be deceiving Doug and you just proved that! Beautiful views as always and congratulations on the challenge!
The challenge is like taking on a month long project with daily deadlines. Now I can take on all of the projects I have been postponing oner the last month.
