From Granada to Valencia
The views along the highway from Granada to Valencia are varied. There are castles, forts, factories and of course mountains. We began before nine and were comfortable in the bus in spite of the rain outside.
The trip took us from the Spanish region of Andalusia through the region of Murcia and into the region of Valencia.
Around lunch time, we were passing this interesting place north of Cartagena.
The road seemed to curve around the castle because I was able to get pictures of both sides as well as an end view.
Now here are a few previews of Valencia. I was so happy to be reviewing the pictures of this dynamic city. It is the third largest city in Spain, it is a port city handling most of Spain’s container shipments, and it has beaches too. It has a Ford automotive factory. Did you know that Spain’s largest export is automobiles? In the last ten years, there has been a lot of modern construction related to hosting such events as the America Cup sailing event in 2007 and 2010.
What exquisite photos! Thank you for taking me on your trip again! I so enjoy your pictorial tour.
