Once a field that probably grew hay for the horses, this field is now a soccer field. It can host four football games simultaneously with lots more field space to take the dog for a walk.
The field is L shaped with roads and industrial space on two sides and the forest on the other sides.
Any other year, the use of the exercise equipment would be encouraged, but this year it is discouraged since it is not regularly sanitized. Team sports are allowing practice sessions with small groups within the team, but games with other teams are discouraged.
There is great cell phone coverage due to the tower near the field. Convenient if you are here to watch your children play but have to keep in touch with what is going on at work.
Those beautiful trees are just amazing!! So striking in their fall color. It has been great going on these nature walks with you this month, Doug.
Can you imagine them with snow on them?
This is indeed a great place to spend family time, as well as alone time. I have been awed by the beauty of your sceneries. They reminded me of that Bible verse that says, “The heavens declare the glory of God…” Psalm 19:1
The Hubble telescope helps declare that better and the Lord has done marvelous things here on earth too.
