Yeomiji Cactus Garden

After looking around outside of the greenhouse and seeing that buds and leaves were making their spring appearance, I realized that there was still one wing of the greenhouse that I had not explored. It was the Cactus Wing. You may have seen part of it in the Wordless Wednesday post: https://jarvie.ca/yeomiji-greenhouse/

Maybe you already know that cactus plants do have a season in which they produce flowers.

My time in Jeju, South Korea is up and I have to catch the bus to take us back to the port where the Diamond Princess is waiting to take us back to Japan. I do not think that there is a rock garden here, but one of the phrases in my French lessons asks: “If I plant a pebble, will a mountain grow?”

    1. Many people have an aloa or other form of cactus in their home. They do well in dry environments and are OK if the caregiver forgets to water them occasionally.

  1. Cacti is beautiful to look at from afar. We have a huge Agave plant with giant spikes on the ends, they are killers. LOL

  2. Oh how lovely! One of my friends gave me a night blooming cereus that have in a North facing window, and am enjoying. It would be lovely if it decided to bloom ….

Thanks for looking at the pictures. Tell me what you liked, or didn't.
