Downtown Seydisfjordur

It may be a small town, but it is an interesting one. Here are some of the most popular views.

Because the harbour is so well sheltered by the hills and maybe because we were there on a perfect day, the water was as still as a mirror.

Now I will show you a 360-degree video view from the bridge.

Can you see the Blue Church steeple?

Maybe the harbour is not always so calm.

What should we do with this old ship?

  1. Did you do a cruise around Iceland? We went there before Covid and loved it. I’d go again. Looks like a nice time of year. Septemberfor us if I recall. Cold enough. We mostly stayed in Rejevik taking day tours out.

    1. Yes, we cruised around the Island, we stopped at four ports; East, North, West and South.
I did an excursion from each port. Nancy did a bus tour around the island several years earlier.

        1. It was the Island Princess of Princess Cruise Lines. We travelled in September 2022 from Copenhagen then back to Southampton. If you have not cruised with Princess before, I can arrange a small onboard credit for you first trip.

        2. I have just learned that Icelandic Airlines will soon be flying out of Hamilton with special introductory fares. Have you considered a bus trip around the island?

Thanks for looking at the pictures. Tell me what you liked, or didn't.
