Flamenco in Seville, Spain

It was time for us to leave Lisbon and cross the boarder into Spain. Seville is the capital and largest city of the Andalusia region of Spain. With a municipal population about 700,00 and a metropolitan population of 1.5 million, as of 2011, it ranks as the fourth largest city in Spain.

After an orientation tour of the old city and a check in at the hotel, the evening meal and entertainment was a Flamenco dinner and dance show.

Seville celebrates an April Fair. It is scheduled for the second week after Easter. The people attend parties in traditional dresses and suits. Even the horse drawn carriages are decorated for the occasion and the best in the country come to Seville for the festivities.

What do you think?

Now for the show. Just a few clips with sound. Those who were dining during the show were seated at the back. That was us. Video was definitely allowed. You will see that I was not the only one using a camera.
