King’s Life Guard and Trafalgar Square

After the ride on the London Eye, we had some time before our cruise along the Thames. Enough time that we could visit the King’s Life Guard at the Household Cavalry Museum. Someone wanted their picture with the horse and mounted guard. It was very crowded there and I can see why there is a sign posted warning: Caution, The Horse may Kick or Bite.

From there, we walked back to the embankment of the Thames to embark the river cruise. The shortest way was down Horse Guard Avenue, along the side of The Old War Office Building, OWO for short. That building is now a hotel, Raffles of London at The OWO.

Due to some mix up with the tickets for the river cruise, we had lots more time to explore the city. We soon found ourselves in Trafalgar Square.
