Time to leave Marigot, Saint Martin
All vacations come to an end and this was the last port of call before disembarkation in Fort Lauderdale. As usual, I will give you some pictures of the evening clouds and some sail away views.
These are the “tenders” that take us from the ship to the shore when the port is too shallow or does not have a proper dock for our size ship.
The video below will give you a sense of what the ride is like on a calm sunny day. It does not get much better than this.
The video above was taken with a GoPro camera. If you want to see how it looks through an iPhone, enjoy the ride below.
While waiting for the ride back to the ship, I noticed the placement of the three yachts and the tender line hand on the right.
A few last memories of Merigot as the island of Saint Martin, adorned with the promised clouds, shrinks from view.
Beautiful…
Doug…I hope you will bring more of your beautiful pictures to the next blog challenge. Blog on 🙂
Thanks for the tours and cruises, Doug. I love the Carribbean and cruising. Thanks for the tip about taking a photo of old photos instead of scanning. It is much faster and quality is great.
Thanks for another group tour Doug! Your photos are awesome!
