Marigot Farewell

Time to leave Marigot, Saint Martin

All vacations come to an end and this was the last port of call before disembarkation in Fort Lauderdale. As usual, I will give you some pictures of the evening clouds and some sail away views.

The passenger shuttle or “Tender”.

These are the “tenders” that take us from the ship to the shore when the port is too shallow or does not have a proper dock for our size ship.

The Pacific Princess

The video below will give you a sense of what the ride is like on a calm sunny day. It does not get much better than this.

The video above was taken with a GoPro camera. If you want to see how it looks through an iPhone, enjoy the ride below.

This is how the iPhone 7+ sees the seas.

While waiting for the ride back to the ship, I noticed the placement of the three yachts and the tender line hand on the right.

One last view of the B&B yachts in Maricot harbour.

A few last memories of Merigot as the island of Saint Martin, adorned with the promised clouds, shrinks from view.

  1. Thanks for the tours and cruises, Doug. I love the Carribbean and cruising. Thanks for the tip about taking a photo of old photos instead of scanning. It is much faster and quality is great.

Thanks for looking at the pictures. Tell me what you liked, or didn't.
