Sándor Palace, Presidential Palace
In the courtyard behind the Royal Palace is the Presidential Palace.
The changing of the guard occurs every hour. There were two guards at the front door and two more at the side door.
In front of the presidential Palace the old medieval walls are being restored.
Pansies are still growing in December.

This equestrian statue of Prince Eugene of Savoy was placed here because the city commissioning it was not able to pay for it.

Great pictures. They make me feel as if I were there. I really enjoyed the depiction of that beautiful architecture. I was especially fascinated by the bird and the horse statues. It is a good introduction to the palace in Budapest for people who have never been there.
