Shortstown track

Shortstown Activity Track

Shortstown has a wonderful park with a track that can be used for jogging, walking your dogs, walking yourself or joining others for some skateboarding or basket ball. There is a field large enough for some soccer (football in the UK) or flying a kite.

The park has a community center and some benches to stop for a rest.

There are posts inserted in one area to create teaching moments as you walk around with your young children.

At one point there is a magnifying glass mounted on a post. Someone had placed a berry under the glass for a closer look.

How else will children learn about sticks and stones.

It is a great track.
