Sierra Nevada Mountains
The road from Torremolinos to Granada leads up to the hill country of Andalusia, through the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. The views were superb.

I wonder if there is a place that is as interesting in Arizona or Nevada? I’ll be driving to California later this year and your posts are encouraging to make the trip longer and visit the places I pass through a little more. Travel is about more than getting from point A to point B. Part of the enjoyment is visiting different parts of an area. Really happy you posted after me on UBC so I didn’t forget to come back here.

There are so many interesting places through that part of the US. Grand Canyon, a large meteor crater near Flagstaff, Sedona, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Lake Havasu, Death Valley, Salt Flats, Beatty, Scotty’s Castle. I saw the last four on a day trip out of Las Vegas.
