The Toronto Zoo is divide into many different zones or domains. Our first stop was to see the polar bears in the Americas domain. As we left that zone, a couple of bird displays caught our attention because they are big birds.

These flamingos are from the Caribbean or gulf of Mexico region.
The other big bird was the American Eagle also known as the Bald Eagle meaning white headed. They usually nest near water where they can catch fish. This one looks like the feathers are a little wet.

Next stop is the Australasia Pavilion.
I love the colorful flamingos but the bald eagle is my favorite, so majestic!
Of course there are bugger birds like the big yellow one from Sesame Street, or emus and Ostriches. 😁
