North Atlantic Crossing

Last fall I was cruising from Iceland to Scotland through the North Atlantic. Can I say the very north Atlantic? Leaving on the evening of September 21 and arriving in Invergordon, Scotland on September 24 that is two days to watch the sea and the sun sets.

Cruising at 32.7 Km/h, I was standing in the ship 20 meters above the water and was watching the evening sink into the sea.

I took several pictures a few minutes apart to record how the light changed as the world turned.

Early in the morning, after we had passed south of the Scotish Shetland Islands and were approaching Invergordon, we passed a platform of industrial equipment in the North Sea. Most likely bringing oil and/or gas to the continent.
